Chris + Emily Wedding – Negril, Jamaica

I met Chris and Emily a couple years ago, as they discussed their wedding plans at a client meeting. Ever since that initial meeting, this incredible couple have become dear friends of mine. This couple impressed me when they didn’t hold back their quirky sense of humor during their engagement session. Then, we had baby girls within 2 weeks of each other. When Emily asked if I could make the trip to Jamaica for their destination wedding, the answer was an obvious YES!

This wedding was certainly one for the books – partially because it took place in the tropical Negril, Jamaica with beaches and warm weather and glorious sunsets galore! But there was so much more to Chris and Emily’s wedding weekend than the tropical destination. The couple held an intimate wedding, as their closest friends and immediate family came together to celebrate their nuptials. There were tears, as the couple exchanged letters (before even seeing each other for the first time, when Emily walked down the aisle). Chris’ face when he saw his bride for the first time was one of utter shock and raw emotion. And the couple grinned from ear to ear from the time they laid eyes on each other throughout the rest of the evening. As an added bonus, Chris and Emily are practically models so photographing them was a cinch (Emily even made three pounds of sand that got trapped in the train of her wedding dress look good ;)).
