Roeller Family May 2017

Mike and my husband, Gabe have been friends since high school. They roomed together Gabe’s last year of college and were in each other’s weddings. A large part of their friendship involves bonding over sports and fantasy leagues of all kinds, and I give Gabe a hard time because it seems like they’re texting NON-STOP ;). Mike and his wife, Abby, are absolutely wonderful. And they have the cutest daughter, Charlie. We turned their session into a double date (plus the girls) and had a blast wandering around Ritter Farm Park for photos before stuffing our faces with Teresa’s Mexican food. Throughout their session, Charlie didn’t cry a single time, though she kept getting distracted by the most random things (one of which was our daughter, Grace…this is why I don’t normally bring her to shoots ;)) – this little lady sure is observant, and sure loves her parents.

One of the things I strive to do in every family session is give parents an opportunity to take photos sans kiddos – to document where the family began and create updated photographs and fun, laughing memories of just the two of them. Mike and Abby were certainly up to the task (I might’ve gone a little overboard with their photos together, but they’re so very much in love)!
