Adelaide One Year

I had the privilege of photographing Adelaide as a newborn, within the first couple weeks of her life. Flash forward to over a year later, and the sweet babe you see lying peacefully on her afghan blanket is now a smiley, curious, independent ONE year old!

Since it had been over a year since I had last seen Adelaide, she was initially a little hesitant about me sticking a camera in her face (see the photograph below for reference ;)). Eventually she warmed up to the camera and began flashing adorable smiles nonstop (ESPECIALLY when evoked by her mom and dad). I thoroughly enjoyed this session – from chasing Adelaide around the grounds to ending her one year photos with a WATERMELON smash (a sweet alternative to a cake smash). Happiest one year of life, Adelaide. You are loved!
