Chey + Anthony Engagement
After rescheduling a couple times, the weather looked like it wasn’t going to cooperate yet AGAIN for Chey and Anthony’s engagement session. But we remained optimistic and planned to go on with the session, despite the stormy skies (and the morning thunderstorm warning in Apple Valley). By the time I arrived at Chey’s momma’s farm in Arcadia, Wisconsin, the sun was shining and everything was bright.
This is the first time I was chauffeured around on kubotas for an engagement session, with Chey’s mom and step-dad so graciously driving us through their hundreds of acres in search of the perfect scapes and shade patches (when the sun was in full force) for photos. Upon driving in to the Haunted Hollow, I saw patches of daisies, but had NO idea the glorious fields that awaited us – it was heavenly!
We battled horse flies, stinging nettle, intense heat, and my fear of ticks to capture Chey and Anthony. I LOVE both of their laid-back and positive personalities. Anthony kept Chey laughing, which is GOLD for photos (and for journeying through life together :)). Chey is one of my best friend’s best friend, and I love who she is in Lindsey’s life, but also who she seems to be to so many people! And even though this was my first time meeting Anthony, I was impressed by his personality! Congratulations, you two! I am SO thrilled to be photographing your wedding this August!
Special shoutout to Carol and Dave for ALL you did during this session! You have amazing property!
