Laura + Kenny Engagement (San Diego)

One of my FAVORITE things about being a wedding photographer is getting to photograph several weddings within a friend group – you start to recognize familiar faces and get to witness some pretty incredible relationships. I especially enjoy Laura’s group of friends who know how to celebrate! I’ve gotten to interact with Laura as a bridesmaid in a few weddings and have always loved her fun, spunky, warm spirit (and dance moves). So when she messaged me the big news that Kenny had finally proposed, I was ecstatic! It is her turn to be the beloved bride! Kenny’s a San Diego native, so I headed out there to photograph this stunning couple in front of ocean backdrops and under the lights of the Gaslamp District. This couple definitely has style – people were catcalling and congratulating them as they walked around La Jolla, Kenny dressed to the nines and Laura wearing a flowy, white dress (we just let passerbyers assume it was their wedding day that very day ;)). I SO enjoyed my time exploring San Diego with this couple and cannot wait to photograph their wedding next June!
